How do I heat them?
Fifteen to twenty seconds in the microwave. Or six to seven minutes in the oven at 350. It’s printed in the lid, so you don’t have to remember this page.
How long do they keep?
5-6 days on the counter from the day you receive them. Freeze the ones you won't eat right away for up 3 months.
What’s in them? Allergens?
Every bag carries its ingredient label. If you have a food allergy, email info@insideoutcookie.com before you order and we’ll tell you exactly what’s in the cookie and what else is in the kitchen. We answer fast, because this is not a thing to guess about.
Are they gluten free?
Gluten friendly, not certified gluten-free. We bake a gluten and dairy friendly line in a kitchen that also handles wheat. If that matters for a medical reason, email us first.
Why is there a six-cookie minimum?
A box of two costs us the same to pack and ship as a box of six. Rather than charge you for air, we start at six. Build any mix you want inside it.
Can I buy one cookie?
At the tent, yes. Online, no. Online we sell by the box, six minimum, so the postage doesn’t cost more than the cookie.
Where do you ship from, and how?
Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, by UPS. Shipping is calculated at checkout by your address. Subscription boxes ship free. The rest is in the shipping policy.
How fast does it get here?
Orders ship the next business day; order on a Friday and it goes out Monday. How long UPS takes depends on your address, and weather and carriers are not ours to control, so dates are estimates. Sending for a specific day? Order early and tell us the date in the order note.
What’s in the box?
The cookies, sealed. A rubber duck. Your gift note, if you added one. Heating instructions printed in the lid. The inside of the box is fancier than the outside. That’s the whole idea.
It arrived damaged or melted.
Email info@insideoutcookie.com when it arrives, with a photo and your order number. We make it right with a replacement or a refund and we’re not stingy about it. Cookies are food, so we can’t take them back otherwise; the details are in the refund policy.
Can I send a gift with a note?
Yes. Add a gift note when you build the box and write it. It goes in the box with the duck. College kid, deployed spouse, a mom three states away. Gifting
Can I pick the delivery date?
Tell us the date you want it to land and we’ll ship to hit it. Put it in the note field or email us with the order number.
Corporate or bulk orders?
Yes. Tell us the headcount and the date and we’ll come back with options. The form is on the corporate gifting page.
How do skip, swap, pause and cancel work?
From your account: open Subscriptions to skip, pause or cancel any box that hasn’t been charged yet. A few taps, no phone call. Size and schedule changes go by email. Flavor swaps go through the form at Subscriber HQ and Nick does them by hand. Or email us and we’ll do the lot for you.
Do subscriptions really ship free?
Yes, subscription boxes ship free. That’s the main reason the subscription is cheaper out the door than buying the same box once.
What’s the House Account?
A members’ version: one tier sends eighteen cookies every month, the other takes the shipping off everything you order for a year. Both get member pricing and first look at new flavors. The House Account
Where’s the tent next?
Most weekends we’re at a festival or market somewhere, heaviest in September and October. We stopped posting the full schedule publicly, because a copycat vendor was booking events off it. The email list gets it first. Events
Do you do wholesale? Fundraisers?
Both. Cafes, grocers, schools, teams, the band trip. Wholesale · Fundraisers
What’s with the duck?
Every box gets a rubber ducky. It has for years. A few of them are gold. More on that
I got a gold one. Now what?
Email info@insideoutcookie.com with a photo and hold onto the duck. How the gold ones work

“The cookies were delicious, but even better was the exemplary customer service! Cookies were lost in transit by the carrier and InsideOut couldn't have been nicer about promptly sending me a new complementary order. Highly recommend!”

“Great cookies and great customer service. The only problem was not being able to wait to eat the first one.”
